Free reign! Tell us something, anything!

1. Mom, Dad, one of my brothers and my sister at our home in Anaheim, CA in the early 1960’s. The car is a 1953 baby blue Cadillac Coup de Ville. My Dad purchased this car for Mom around 1960 for $1000. It has Barris wheels and the convertible version of this car was used to drive President Eisenhower around.

2. Shelie with the car.

3. My other brother in front of our 1957 Ford station wagon when we were living on Catalina Island. This car was very fast. (312 cubic inch, 245 horse power – police interceptor engine, 411 differential and could get to a quarter mile in 15.25 seconds.) My Dad came close to winning a trophy at the Pomona drag strip but was beat out by a modified ’56 Chevy.
